Kaycee:

We may be moving in the near future as well. My hubby's work is shutting down their office here, but we have the option of moving to another city (3 hours from here). We're kind of torn because we just moved into our house that we built in September. Here's to big decisions! :o)

Subject: Charlotte, NC residents/relocating/help/not plagio

Dear Charlotte contingency: We soon may be among your ranks. My husband was flown down to Charlotte last week for an interview. He really like the area. Anyway if we are considering moving, I was wondering if any of you Charlotte residents can tell me which is the best school system (especially elementary)near Salisbury(?) or if there are good schools around Lake Norman. Things are crazy and we won't know for sure if we are moving for another week. Looks like my hub will go down first and then I will follow after the school year ends. Maggie will be done with her band treatment in the next few weeks so no more Cranial Tech.By the way, I am Kaycee, mom to (7), Mikala (5) Gunnar (3) and Maggie who got her band on 11/16/00.Thanks for all your help. This is a scary and exciting time for us.

Hi Kacyee,

I live in Charlotte. We live just South of downtown.

It's in the old part of Charlotte. I'm sorry, I don't

know very much about the Salisbury Schools. Before my

daughter was born, I taught in the Charlotte

Meck System (CMS). It is a good system but very

large. With a large system, some schools are great,

and some are not so great. I believe that part of

Lake Norman is is Mecklenburg County and part in other

counties. So depending upon where you lived, you may

or may not be in the CMS system. I have a friend that

lives at the lake in Lincoln County and loves the

schools there. I hope that I have not confused you!

Please feel free to email me directly. Keep me

posted!!

B., Charlotte

I tried several times to email you directly but I kept

getting failure to deliver messages. Not sure what

the problem is ...
