Guest guest
Hello All! I just wanted to explain what happened to my " Perspective " email. After I read what I had written I was so terribly worried that it came across condescending which was NOT my intention at all - so I deleted it. I thought that some may think that I'm saying that no plagiocephaly parents should complain at all or be worried or be sad. That was sooooo not my intention. I'm a new member and I didn't want to upset anyone with my thoughts and get started on the wrong foot. I completely share in all of your worries about the condition and I completely sympathize with people that have to deal with the many frustrations that go along with it. I am very lucky in that 's condition was diagnosed early (4 mos) by his ped and so far the helmet is really doing the job. All I know is that sometimes when I'm really down about their eczema, my husband reminds me about how healthy they both really are and how some people are dealing with things much worse and it really really makes me feel lucky and blessed to have them generally healthy. That was my intention - to just let you know that when you really get down about the condition and allllll of it's frustrations, just look at your child's face (and that killer smile with that helmet on!) and know how blessed you are to have a healthy beautiful child. I hope this posting better reflects my thoughts. Sorry for the confusion. Kass - Mom to (8/16/00, Starband on since 1/6/01)
