Guest guest
Well, I had all my mercury out over the last year and have waited a few months before chelation. My Naturopath still thinks there is one more thing to do. He used a device to check the current in my teeth and decide with the dentist the order of removal. He still thinks I have a problem though, since once of my crowns is emitting a higher current than the mercury one that were taken out. The crown is attached to the tooth by some sort of metal...possibly nickel. My old dentist swears there is no mercury under it. First....is this type of testing (done via fingertips and toes......) in any way valid. Second......should I go through the cost of taking this out. Guest guest
Two ways to look at this: Nickel is bad for you, so it might be worthy to get a newer metal free or nickel free crown. Yes, metal in the mouth does emit a current. This can interfere with natural brain current. I would not buy into this testing that you mention. You can check tooth current with a regular around the house ampmeter if your really curious, but what does it matter if you already know it emits a current as this is documented in other literature. Regardless, it's metal and emits a current. So you can either live with it, or have it removed. Providing there is NO amalgam under it you can chelate. Sometimes the only way to be sure is to remove the crown and look. But often it shows up on x-ray. If this tooth had a root canal, I would be worried about removing it entirely, crown and all. Root canaled teeth emit terrible bacteria that is far more toxic to your body than even mercury. Secondly, why is your ND prolonging the inevitable? Providing you are amalgam free, you could have begun chelation within days of removal. At the earliest..four days with dmsa or dmps. After three months you can add ala if you can tolerate it. I would get Andy's book Amagam Illness, instead of paying a naturpath. They often do not have much knowlege of chelation or metal toxicity. They may mean well in trying to help but..this is not going to help..prolonging and doing more odd " testing " . > > Well, I had all my mercury out over the last year and have waited a few > months before chelation.
