Guest guest
You didn't mention what the dose was and what extra ingredients are in the TD DMPS. The dose is likely too high and probably the formulation contained glutathione - one or the other or the combination. There are many advantages to using oral chelators. One is that the appropriate dose is easier to determine and keep constant. TD chelators are not a part of Andy's protocol. His protocol is for oral chelators. I suggest finding oral DMPS, DMSA, or ALA and try again dosing at the appropriate interval with 1/8 mg per pound or less. The more toxic/sensitive the individual the LOWER the dose should be to start. For supplements see the excellent supplement file in the files section here, thanks to Anita. Guest guest
The td-dmps probably has glutathione or something your son doesn't tolerate in it. I presume your son has NO mercury amalgam dental fillings. Which four foods does your kid eat? Consider switching to oral DMSA. S S HI Everyone! My son started chelation on Andy's protocol for " ONE " weekend. We were using the TD-DMPS every 8 hrs Friday PM thru Monday AM. By Sunday nights, 15-20 minutes after his drops,he was SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS FOR OVER AN HOUR & crying constantly, & beating himelf in the head & running back & forth NON-STOP. I stopped it then. My son is 5 & completely NON-VERBAL, he can't tell me what was wrong, but he was definetly telling us that something was definetly wrong. I hear/read a lot about these kids having sulfur problems? I am thinking it may be that, but just can't afford a YASKO test right now. So I was thinking of just giving him the ALA. Upon reading today, most recommend giving DMSA first then the ALA. BTW, my son is mercury, aluminum, alimony, arsenic, lead & Tin toxic as well. I just know that I need to get these stuff out of him. So can anyone please help me with where to start with him right now. He is having really bad yeast symptoms right now as well. His little bottom has been broken out terribly for a week straight, & he stimms are at an all time high, hands & visiually & vocally. What should I start him on for yeast protocol??? If I give him ALA, his copper was in the yellow/high on his DDI hair test, what should I do so he wont get copper toxic? What do I need to make sure to supplement him with while chelating? I think the zinc is supposed to be on off days only, is this right? Does anyone have an Idea or opinion on that episode with the TD-DMPS? Is that a normal thing while starting chelation & that early on? I even cut back for that last dose, because he started these symptoms on the earlier one, but no where near that bad. I just want to help him & not harm him further, he only eats like 4 items, period & he is on a gf/cf/sf & BEEF free diet. I am just so nerveous, that I am not helping him at all...I need to get this started NOW... yeast, chelation & supplements he will need. Thanks for ANY help I can get!!! Guest guest
Andy tells people to never use glutathione. If it were me I'd drop the DAN! and chelate without a doc or find one who understands Andy's protocol and will follow it. Is there a reason you're using dmps rather than oral dmsa or ala which are available without a prescription. S S > HI! YES, HIS TD-DMPS IS PRESCRIBED WITH GLUTATHION. HIS DAN! SAID TO WORK HIM UP TO 28 DROPS OVER 2 WEEKS. I WAS TO GIVE HIM 28 DROPS EVERY OTHER DAY. WE DECIDED HOWEVER TO GO WITH THE ANDY CUTLER'S PROTOCOL. I STARTED HIM OFF WITH 6 DROPS & NEVER MADE IT TO 10 OVER THE 3 DAYS. I DO WANT TO START HIM ASAP. I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO START WITH?? > > The td-dmps probably has glutathione or something your son doesn't tolerate in it. I presume your son has NO mercury amalgam dental fillings. Guest guest
What is his copper result (the number)? You should give zinc all the time. Make sure your dose is high enough (see the supplement file). Also check to see if you are using the recommended supplements for chelation (at the end of the file). What are the 4 foods he eats? Are you doing anything now for yeast? -- > > > HI! > YES, HIS TD-DMPS IS PRESCRIBED WITH GLUTATHION. > HIS DAN! SAID TO WORK HIM UP TO 28 DROPS OVER 2 WEEKS.
