Guest guest
You need to get Dr. Cave's book " What your doctor may not tell you about vaccinations " (title may not be exactly that, but close). She talks about each vaccine and has a proposed schedule in the back, which I have seen her post elsewhere that she still approves of at this time, even though the book is a few years old. Guest guest
I'm new here but my family has been coming up with interesting alternatives for vaccination which might be helpful or could help you to ask questions which could lead to an alternative for your child. I'm guessing you may know more about the ins and outs than we do, which might make what I write moot, but you never know what info someone else has or doesn't. Some people just don't vaccinate at all and simply do extended nursing (past the age of two and beyond. The immune system is not really mature until about six years of age). Though it's probably advisable to get breastmilk tested for toxins these days, even if you have no amalgams or don't eat fish. Some of us had too much lead exposure and if you get low in calcium, the body can retrieve lead from the bones, mistaking it for calcium and release it to the nursing child. Don't get low in calcium if you're nursing. Take supplements at least twice a day because they're flushed out of the body after six hours or so. It's unknown whether mercury " mimmicks " any nutrient in the body or not, so don't get " low " in anything if you're nursing. You probably know this anyway. We thought that, if we had it to over again, we'd try to order vaccinations from a country where thimerosal was banned. If that wasn't possible, and we could have found a way to afford it, we'd have gone to some country with a total ban to get the really necessary vaccinations there. We wouldn't have vaccinated until the kids were older either. Probably just polio and diptheria and possibly Hib. Obviously we don't have things to do over again and haven't investigated those options fully. There's always the issue of keeping an unvaccinated child healthy on an overseas flight because, if you arrive and the child gets sick with something, you'd have to hang out in that country waiting for them to recouperate before getting vaccinated. Expensive but it could be a nice tour if it's not completely unaffordable. One mistake we made was letting the pediatrican vaccinate both children when they had colds. My sister is either going to try to order vaccines from Europe (again, she hasn't done it yet and has nothing crucial to report on whether it's even possible) or is taking her sons, seven and eleven, to Europe (not sure which country, possibly Sweden) for just a few select boosters. She's researching heavily to find out if there's any misreporting going on about total bans and mercury contents in vaccines from which countries. She's an RN and doesn't trust anything available to Americans or Canadians because of pharma corruption and FDA incompetence. Another creative option is to find a very sympathetic naturopath MD or DAN doctor who can order the select, supposedly no-mercury-added vaccinations from a pharmacy and have them tested at a lab before use to make sure they really are mercury-free. But then there's always MSG, formaldehyde and other crap in vaccines to worry about. Not sure how any of that works, but if you come up with a creative idea on this, the veterans here can probably help with the pragmatic aspects of it. > > > > Hello. Guest guest
Bless you for having the balls to challenge the hospital staff and congratulations on the new baby. There are no legal timelines for getting these shots done, and really no laws forcing you to vaccinate at all. There are mandates which require shots to attend public school, but also ways around that via exemption forms. Which state are you in? In every State law there are written exemptions. http://www.vaclib.org/exemption.htm NO vaccine is perfectly safe. No vaccine is 'necessary' above another. If you are looking for an alternate vaccination schedule, you can find one in the book of Dr. Cave or a more cautious schedule here: http://www.lewrockwell.com/miller/miller15.html If I were going to vaccinate another child, I would not even approach the subject until they were at least 2 years of age. Let that little brain and nervous system/digestive system develop for that critical time period. If you are nervous about school and further harassment, you have over 4 years to get those vaccines even IF you wait until your child is 2 (since many kids enter kindergarten at age 6). Good luck to you! Be prepared for your next visit to the pediatrician. Actually, all of those visits are set up for the purpose of vaccinations, so I'm not sure if you need to even go for that 2 month visit (though it is fun to see how big they've gotten; that is the hook to get you to come in). If you are up to it... hit that doc head on! Pam > > Hello. I'm new here and really need some help. Guest guest
Congratulations on your new baby and on escaping the early vaccines! None are necessary. I have two nephews who are completely unvaccinated and healthy. They were born at home with a midwife. Another nephew (different sibling's kid) has vaccine-induced autism. Before you make any decisions please read Cave, MD's book as well as " Evidence of Harm " by Kirby, and " A Shot in the Dark " by Barbara Loe Fisher. S S Hello. I'm new here and really need some help. We have been chelating our 6 yr old for years now after getting several shots at once, still nonverbal and very stimmy, and are very concerned for our newborn. I had a hard time at the hospital leaving without giving my newborn the shots they insisted on and desperately need a list of the shots that are NECESSARY. Does such a thing exist? How do you know what shots to give and which ones are superfluous? Please help and thank you so much for your time. _______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! Guest guest
Hi, We have a 21 month old and I have an 18 year old who has ADHD and severe allergies, and a 16 year old son who is non verbal and severely autistic, and a 14 year old daughter who is fine, but has allergies. My 14 year old did not get all her shots because I made the connection between my 16 year old sons regression into autism and his immunizations. My 21 month old was a surprise baby!!!! My husband and I really researched the safety and effectiveness of these vaccines when my now 21 month old daughter was born, and were really stunned to see how little research and testing were done to determine their safety or effectiveness. But those vaccines are money makers. Yesterday I went to Mc's with my 21 month old daughter and we met a 21month old little boy. the mom was concerned about him and at one point told me she thought he was autistic. I told her my story and she has decided not to give him anymore immunizations. The saddest part of that day was the dramatic difference in my daughters development and language/interaction and this little boy. After researching the risks and benefits of vaccinating or not vaccinating it was a no brainer for us not to vaccinate. The risks far out way the benefits, and the risks not to vaccinate are very very exaggerated. I always tell health professionals that my 16 year old son is vaccine damaged, not autistic, and that I will not take the chance on my 21 month old daughter reacting to the vaccines. I have never had anyone say anything to me. Also, I don't take her to see a pediatrician, she see's a general Dr. and only when she is sick. There is no need in my mind to see a Dr. if you are not sick, other than to line the pocket's $$$ of these Dr.'s. I can monitor my daughter growth and developments myself and I have always taken her in if she has been ill. She has only been ill once. She is the healthiest child I have ever had, and the difference between her and the other vaccinated kids is so sad. She is so full of life and engaged. So many of the kids, if not all of the kids I have seen are spacey and sickly. It is so sad. Read or contact the National Vaccine Organization (can't think of their exact name), but Barbara Loe Fisher is president, I think. She will have the kind of information you will need to make this decision. The mom I met at Mc's told me her Dr. had scared her into getting her son immunized, but she said she never felt it was right. She is not going to immunize him anymore. I should note that this little guy was very under weight, spacey, and non-engaging. She said he had a lot of allergies and health was poor. My daughter could get no response out of him, and she really tried : ) Don't let them scare you into vaccinating. There is also a great video on this subject from either England or Australia. Does anyone remember it? It was a long video, but great information. Good luck, ---- sarahghaleb <sarahghaleb@...> wrote: > Hello. I'm new here and really need some help.
