Guest guest
And Gaba never affected the energy levels here, at all. We used 750 mgs, got a lot more expressive speech. Took it out after about 5 months, added it back in for a brief time without anything at all. [ ] Re: GABA dose , I'm not an expert in this by any means but I have been gathering information because I want to trial GABA. There seems to be a wide range of doses that work for kids. Yasko recommends starting low and then moving up until a child is " mushy " and then moving back down again a bit. However, I do know some parents whose child could have been described as " mushy " (low energy, parents spending a lot of time trying to perk him up, etc) who started with a very high dose and that level gave their child a huge developmental jump. Perhaps if they'd stuck to the lower doses/mushy protocol, they'd never seen that great leap forward. My own son is low energy and I spend a lot of time trying to deal with that. I intend to start low with the GABA but if nothing happens, to try a brief higher dose (in his case, at 36 pounds, about 750 mgs day or so) to see if it has this kind of opposite impact on him. I hope this might help, Anita > > Thinking of trying GABA for anxiety for my 11yr old son ~120lbs. I > searched onibasu but couldn't find anything on dose.
