Excellent article Pattie, I'll read it in depth when I've got more time, but I

noticed it mentioned IVIG to treat childhood epilepsy which should interest a

lot of the mums here, I never knew it was useful for that too.

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the crosspost. I'm looking for info and experiences (positive and

negative) with IVIG therapy. Also, has anyone tried the Sub Q injection

route?

Thanks,

Pamela

Pam, we did once a month for an entire year of IVIG infusions as a

clinical trial in Madison Wisconsin around 1997. This was the

first " big " treatment we tried on . At first we thought we saw

improvements but they didn't stay or we just imagined we saw

improvements. I believe it did help with his sensitivity to gluten

and dairy but unfortunately he didn't start talking and he didn't

stop stimming. If I remember right each Iv took about 3 hours to

finish.
