Guest guest
Rita, I'm your woman! My son is 26 and we tested him first at the age of 20. BUT, you don't look for mercury, you look for the " scatter pattern " in the essential elements. Look for Andy Cutler's " counting rules " in the files of this list. And yes, we did find the " scatter pattern " in his hair which became more pronounced as we started chelating. Be aware that with these older kids they may have LOADs of other heavy metals built up in their bodies that you have to address as well as the mercury. That takes a LOT of time. By the way, the MMR only has mercury put in during processing, not at the end, so SHOULDN'T affect the results too much. Barb [ ] WILL MERCURY SHOW UP ON A HAIR TEST AFTER A 15 YEAR TIME PERIOD? I have a son who is 16 years old. He is on the spectrum. I didn't notice problems until about 15 months old with him. All developmental milestones were on time until that point. Many, Many years ago, I would never thought to question a vaccine. You just did what the pediatrician said you were suppose to do. I have no answers to the " Tyler " mystery " . I am going to tell you that I think that it sounds VERY logical that a " Mercury " induced toxicity caused his MR. They used Mercury in the vaccines in the time period in which he was vaccinated. WOULD THE HAIR TEST REVEAL THE MERCURY FROM 15 YEARS AGO??? HE HAD A MMR BOOSTER A FEW MONTHS AGO. WOULD THAT INHIBIT THE HAIR TEST RESULTS? HAS ANY ONE HAD AN OLDER KID TESTED FOR MERCURY EXPOSURE FROM AT LEAST 15 YEARS AGO??????WHERE CAN I GO TO HAVE A HAIR TEST DONE? PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE IN THIS AREA. Thank you to any one who takes the time to write and let me know. Guest guest
Barb: You say the scatter pattern of elements in your son got worse when you started chelating. Did it eventually get better? If so, when? What, in general terms, was your progress like? Steady or in fits and starts? Guest guest
Rita, My daughter is 22 now and we discovered most of this info when she was about your son's age. Implementation of the Cutler protocol, proper supps and chelation[low and slow], has yeilded health improvements for her. We've used the hair test, among others, to guide us. You can find info in the files on this. Posting the results here will give you much help for interpretation. Just reading some of the followup studies done on those poisoned in the Minamata Disaster has kept me going. It does NOT get better over time without proper interventions. > > Rita, > > I'm your woman! My son is 26 and we tested him first at the age of 20. Guest guest
Hi Rita, Comments interspersed. S S I have a son who is 16 years old. He is on the spectrum. I didn't notice problems until about 15 months old with him. *What vaccines did he have at that time? How many mercury amalgam dental fillings has/does he have? All developmental milestones were on time until that point. Many, Many years ago, I would never thought to question a vaccine. You just did what the pediatrician said you were suppose to do. I have no answers to the " Tyler " mystery " . I am going to tell you that I think that it sounds VERY logical that a " Mercury " induced toxicity caused his MR. They used Mercury in the vaccines in the time period in which he was vaccinated. WOULD THE HAIR TEST REVEAL THE MERCURY FROM 15 YEARS AGO??? *Yes, if he's still toxic, which he probably is. You would need to do the DDI hair elements test so you could apply the counting rules, since mercury does NOT typically show as high for mercury toxic folks. Instead it shows as disordered mineral transport. HE HAD A MMR BOOSTER A FEW MONTHS AGO. *Please educate yourself about vaccines and consider not giving him anymore. " Evidence of Harm " by Kirby, " What Your Doctor May NOT Tell You About Childhood Vaccines " by Cave, MD, and " A Shot in the Dark " by Barbara Loe-Fisher are a good place to start. WOULD THAT INHIBIT THE HAIR TEST RESULTS? *No HAS ANY ONE HAD AN OLDER KID TESTED FOR MERCURY EXPOSURE FROM AT LEAST 15 YEARS AGO?????? *I'm an adult recovering from mercury and arsenic poisoning who had my first DDI hair test as an adult. WHERE CAN I GO TO HAVE A HAIR TEST DONE? *You can order the DDI (Doctor's Data, Inc) hair elements test without a doc through Direct Lab Services. If you meniton this group they'll give you a discount. They'll send you a test kit with a paper scale and instructions and you mail it back to them. They will mail and/or e-mail the results. Things are a bit trickier but can be done if you happen to live in NYS. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE IN THIS AREA. Thank you to any one who takes the time to write and let me know. Guest guest
I tested my 11 year old and it showed up on her test. And my own test and I had not had any shots in at least 10 years by that point. Many people get tested no matter the age or how long ago the exposure. It shows up. > > I have a son who is 16 years old. He is on the > spectrum. I am never again going to vaccinate. I started researching this just a couple of weeks ago. The more I read the more I am convinced that he is a victim. I am a RN and always looked forward, instead of behind. Always looked to find a medicine to fix the problem. I tried so much. I never thought to look with in for Mercury. There are 2 tests. One for Heavy metals and one for toxic heavy metals. Both test the mercury level. Is there one I should use over the other? I ordered Andy's book, but didn't receive it yet. I figured I would order the test, so I can expedite the process. I am rather curious about this. If you have a recommendation about one test or the other, let me know. Otherwise I imagine I will receive Andy's book with in a couple of days. The Toxic Metals test does not include the essentials so is useless regarding the counting rules. I ordered Andy's book, but didn't receive it yet.
