I think you would first want to try to get the desired benefits from adrenal cortex extract and licorice. Guest guest Posted July 31, 2007 Report Share Posted July 31, 2007 My 40 pound 4 year old takes a 1/4 cap in the morning. My 125 pd, 12 year old takes one cap in the am and a second cap at 3pm. I take one in the am, but for a while I needed two caps a day also. If I have just finished a round, I need to take extra for a few days. Same with my daughter. I was able to decrease to one cap a day following progesterone cream and a thyroid support supplement. (not that you would do those for kids without true knowledge of the need) But the ACE is working well for them. We noticed a difference within a day. Always try the nonhormone containing things first. E. g. herbals like licorice, adrenal cortex. The NEVER is DHEA, 7 keto DHEA and pregnenolone.
