Guest guest
I have an odd question....well two.... My daughter and I are having a odd skin reaction....we are getting sunburnt....easily... She is med toned...but I am an Indian....what are we low in or is this metals or yeast? Used to never burn and she used to tan easily....so this is odd for us. Also what is the dosing on moly....for bigger kids....like 150+ is it the same as for little ones....and where do you find it in anything but tiny doses....I know Kirkman has it in 100 mcg...but that is gonna take a lot of pills....any ideas? Thanks Ronni
Guest guest
Ronni, you're not eating a lot of buckwheat (particularly sprouted buckwheat) by any chance, are you? That can cause fagopyrism - photosensitivity is one symptom. The other things that came up after a very quick search were B vitamin deficiencies - but there could be a munber of other possibilities I'm sure. Rene XX > > I have an odd question....well two.... Guest guest
Solgar and Carlson's are the only two I have found to buy molybdenum. The Carlson's is 500mcg, the Solgar is 150mcg. That is the most I can find. Buying them..iHerb.com sells Carlson's. And check your local HFS for Solgar. It is a very hard mineral to find. Sunburning, yes this is an odd one. I can't remember what someone had said about that. But I have noticed that my skin is more prone to burn, but didn't used to be. Is this Vitamin D...anyone? Hopefully, someone can answer this part better for you. I would look into taking things that are good for the skin. A, D, E. > > I have an odd question....well two.... I used to have this, although I am very fair. My sensitiviy has gone down considerably during the last 2 years that I have been chelating. Maybe from chelation or maybe from b vits as the other poster said. > moly... where do you find it in anything but > tiny doses. Thorne has a 1mg capsule (typical doses are 100's of mcg). Thorne can be hard to find. One place is naturalnutritionals.com /Amni has a 250 mcg tablet or capsule. vitaminshoppe.com has the tabs. Here's the answer to the dose question: http://onibasu.com/archives/am/49344.html W.

Guest guest
No....we never eat buckwheat...is on our nono list....We do take b's and biotin and b6..and b12..so at a loss...haven't had buckwheat for many years....so that's one of the reason I was confused...could the lack of Vit D cause this? Just an off hand thought...we were told to increase our Vit D because of where we live...and was wondering if that had anything to do with it...but my daughter is and has been taking CLO...so not sure.. Thanks for your help tho Rene....appreciate it. Ronni > Ronni, you're not eating a lot of buckwheat (particularly sprouted > buckwheat) by any chance, are you?
