I cut the cord and plastic cord holders off because he kept popping the elastic back on his hand and hurting himself. I didn't think that they would come off on their own and choke him! I am returning them to Gymboree today with a print-out of the recall. I returned them yesterday, but since I didn't have a receipt they only gave me $3.99 for them (the last price they were sold at). I paid $15.00 for them! They lady at the store hadn't even heard that they had been recalled yet until I showed her the print-out. It was like she didn't believe me.
