Hello everyone. Maggie's graduating. She's had her helmet since 11/16 - one week before her first birthday. She was mild to moderate. We are not going to get a 2nd cast done. Her forehead is perfect (she had left frontal bulging and was pretty flat all on the left side). Her left ear was more forward than the right. Some eye assymetry - one more round than the other. Her ears are still slightly off but she looks a lot more round and symmetrical. I would guess that correciton was 80-90 %. We are very happy with the choice to go forward with the helmet treatment. Even those people who said they didn't notice anything wrong with the shape of her head have seen a difference. Now, when does that stink come out of her hair for good???????????I hope you guys don't mind if I check in from time to time with all of you. I apreciate all the support you have given my during this time in our lives. I count you all among my dearest friends: for what is a friend if not to support you during the hardest times and not judge you for the path you have chosen. You are a truly wonderful group of people. Please feel free to email me directly if you want to. Thanks to all,Kaycee mom to Maggie in Albany, NY

Congratulations Maggie!!!

Don't worry Kaycee, the stink will go away right after the band is off for good (after a bath, that is!).

Glad to hear you'll be sticking around for a while! :o)
