Guest guest
Judy, I think it would be a good idea to get the final say from the specialist. I can understand about not wanting to put total trust in a ped that didn't pick up the ball and run from the very start!!! Guest guest
Good idea. That's exactly what I did. Good luck. Amy (Max's mom)
Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who responded to me via posts and email. I took Genna in to see her ped again today and asked him if he was 100% certain she didn't have fused sutures and he said yes, he is. He said one of two things would happen if that were the case: either her head would not follow the growth chart properly, or if it did follow the growth chart in circumference, it would be much more distorted than it is. I thought this would put my mind at ease but it really didn't! Mainly because I don't totally trust this ped anymore since he dropped the ball to begin with. I think maybe I will make another appointment with the pediatric neurosurgeon and if he tells me he is 100% certain then I'll get on with life.
