Guest guest
Could it be that she has either a hyatal hernia or some damage to her esphogus? The lady we see....who is a NP trained by Andy, has put hubby on this for his problems with espohgus... http://www.iherb.com/store/ProductDetails.aspx?c=Herbs & pid=EMT-09110 She is also recommending mastic gum for our ulcers...just getting started so not sure how it will work...but we also used OLE... Have you tried adding any hydrachloric acid? I use that with my ulcer at this point....I understand that sometimes the bacteria is able to get started in the stomach is because there isn't enough acid... hth Ronni > My older daughter is having alot of what looks it could be an ulcer > type stomache pain here lately...thinking about trying this (along > with my ongoing lectures about eating " fake " food, and also started > giving her m. thistle & vit e daily vs 2-3x wk or so)- do you have > personal experience with mastic gum, any cautions, etc? > > I am going to do some searches on mastic gum, but would like any > personal experiences that might relate... > > thanks for your two cents... > elizabeth > > > > > > Just my two cents. Guest guest
thank you, I will look these up...thinking probably not, tho' - not really any of the " burning " type feelings/pain is also lower than that...(never hurts to check, for sure). There seems to be " something " at her school that started 2-3 wks ago - started with almost daily migraines after school, to " full day " migraines..then, this past week or so, her belly has been super-sensitive...thinking of the " something " at her school as a trigger, vs a " cause. " (gotta love the unavoidable environmental Stuff, uggggh) I took antibiotics for an ulcer - not fun, and would like to totally avoid for her, ever...if mastic gum is relatively benign, I would try it as a " nip it in the bud " type thing... Still looking for mastic gum info / so far, lotsa places to buy it from (with accompany'g accolades), not so much " real " info, ... am also looking into kefir now...rather overwhelming so far, but looks really really promising... (found info in an A-M " gut/belly issues " post - #155687). Would be very interested in hearing how it goes with mastic gum at your house... Acid - reminds me, should look up that " stomach acid " test (it's lemonjuice or vinegar, I think), and see what happens...didn't think of that ( & should be a " duh " for me, go figure). it's late, and I am sooo tired - got sidetracked by kefir, hope the above makes some sense.... thanks again, elizabeth > > Could it be that she has either a hyatal hernia or some damage to her > esphogus? > > The lady we see....who is a NP trained by Andy, has put hubby on this > for his problems with espohgus... > http://www.iherb.com/store/ProductDetails.aspx?c=Herbs & pid=EMT-09110 > > She is also recommending mastic gum for our ulcers...just getting > started so not sure how it will work...but we also used OLE... > Have you tried adding any hydrachloric acid?
