I haven't had much time to read all the posts let alone respond to

any. This has been the busiest month. Abigail went for her PT eval

about three weeks ago.(After bugging my Ped about the possibility

that yes she may have Tort even though he has been saying no for

months.He did eventually give in and say yeah she does have Tort)

So we went for PT eval three weeks ago..Then we waited.They had to

Precertify the PT with the ins.(Darn HMO's)So last week we got the OK

to start on Friday.We show up to our appointment only to find out

that the PT who did the eval has quit and these other two Pt's will

be standing in.They are not even Pediatric PT's!!!!They usually work

with adults in the out patient department of the hospital.(this is

not a Children's Hospital just our local hospital) They try to do

some streching of Abigail's neck.Show me very little.Then proceed to

tell me that they have no idea who will be doing the next visit.They

have no idea who will be filling the position??? Needless to say I

was very upset!!!I finally get my ped to admit that she has Tort then

this!!! How frustrating!!!So tommarrow I have to do some digging!!

See if there is any other place that takes my insurance. I don't even

mind driving her an hour away just as long as I know she is getting

the appropriate care.

Thanks for letting me vent some where I jsut can't believe all of the

hoops I have to jump through to get the appropriate care for my child.
