Guest guest
Yikes! I'm not sure what to say! What does your ped say about the night terrors? It seems there would be something that could be done about that! I know I have read some articles about it, but I can't remember what advice was given. I can imagine you must be very exhausted you poor thing! I hope someone here has some good advice for you! Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma
Guest guest
This is not related to plagiocephaly. My son Spencer turned 1 on March 6, 2001. He's the easiest baby except for he gets up 5-6 times every night. When he was born he had a severe case of Reflux and he still suffers from stomach spasms. The first two months of his life he didn't sleep more than 2 hours out of 24 hours. They put him on Zantac and Donnatol. He no longer needs the Zantac but he takes Donnatol 4 times a day still. He's also allergic to milk. After they medicated him around 2 months old he began to sleep at least 2 - 3 hours at a time. He's now 1 and he still gets up repeatedly. I know that he has night terrors. This has been confirmed by his pediatrician. Does ANYONE have any advice on how to get him to sleep through the night? Between getting no more than 3-4 hours sleep a night and traveling every two weeks to Charlotte (I live in VA Beach) I'm am exhausted. I don't think Spencer is exhausted though. I also have a 6 year old son to take care of so ANY advice is helpful. I have tried letting him cry it out but he gets completely histyrical. Guest guest
Hi, My daughter Tatijana went through the getting up many times at night well past a year old. At about 13 months we took her out of the crib and just layed the mattress on the floor. That still didn't work so at 14 months we were able to get a toddler bed and a rail to put on one side of it and since then we haven't had any problems. She still gets one time between 11 and 12 for something to drink but then goes right back to sleep until between 6 and 8 in the morning. We had tried letting her cry it out but she would cry for hours and it wasn't just a whimpering cry it was hysterical crying. For a while my husband and I were sleeping on the couch with her laying on our chests to get her to sleep at all. But then once we got her a toddler bed and she wasn't in the crib any more she was fine. I hope this helps some. I know you must be exhausted. I was.
