Guest guest Posted March 9, 2001 Report Share Posted March 9, 2001 Tami, I think I remember that you have a locally made helmet. We have that kind also and it was a little loose at first. The principle behind the helmets is that the head will " grow into it " . With that in mind it should be a little loose, but if you are concerned that it is just moving too much, then call the orthotist and voice your concerns. Our orthotist added some foam type padding in the front and back to keep it from slipping too much during the initial " growing into it " period. We also had concerns about it slipping down over her eyes a little and took her right back in the next day for an adjustment. I hoep this helps! Keep us posted on what you find out!
