Guest guest
Tod, I am not sure why, but I heard Cod Liver Oil helps with this- Perhaps vitamin A & D. --- Tod <tod_s_2000@...> wrote: > I believe this has been addressed on here before. Guest guest
They are little bumps sometimes with white heads in the middle. They are usually on the backs of arms, thighs and on the sides of your cheeks (face). They are apparently caused by a fatty acid deficiency. Taking Cod Liver Oil can really help clear them up. Using a body scrub or rough sponge to slough off will not work. They do tend to go away, or lessen when a person gets older. <jenniferdoxakis@...> wrote: What is chicken skin exactly? my sons skin is weird on his stomach, at first i thought it was goosebumps then i realized it was always like that JULIE GRIFFITHS <moppett1@...> wrote: Omega 3 [ ] Chicken skin on arms? Guest guest
--- My son used to have these...you can even squeeze them like little pimples and tiny little " whiteheads " pop out...drove me crazy trying to get rid of them all! EFAs have helped and they have been gone a couple of years. If so, Please let me know. My #3 required a lot of things to eliminate this problem, including EFAs and B vitamins. I wrote what he required here http://www.danasview.net/issues.htm Dana

Guest guest
Okay, I believe it is called Keratosis Pelaris. Try zinc and Cod Liver Oil. Or, you can try KP Duty (Cream) by Dermadoctor.com - I have not tried this product, so I can't really tell you if it is any good or not. I had this condition when I was younger and it started to go away when I was in my mid-twenties. I no longer have it anymore. My son who is 15, started to get them when he was around 10, if he takes the CLO on a regular basis, they almost are non-existent, he is NT by the way. My younger guy doesn't have them at all, yet. ronnimike <HISSPECIALTOUCH@...> wrote: LOL what is older....I am 55 and have em...and so do my older kids in their 20's .....sorry....just got a hoot outta that one...we are finding that it is more than just getting it in...you have to be able to utilize it...and that can be a real problem sometimes. jmho Ronni > They are little bumps sometimes with white heads in the middle. Guest guest
I am thinking it might be pyroles (spelling?) and we are starting a bit more B6 and zinc. Several of us don't tolerate Cod Liver Oil at all....for example, my son gets very aggressive on CLO so they take black currant....but I am thinking there is still something off...so am hoping the B6 helps the issue.. I hope you didn't think it was you I was laughing at...sometimes my sense of humor is a bit odd...the idea made of me being so much older and not supposed to be getting is what I thought was ironically funny...not you.
