Guest guest
Unfortunately I have this problem from time to time and it is yeast/bacteria. Up your probiotic and it should go away. Die off usually occurs and there is some loose stools associated with that. The probiotic is only a temporary fix. You might need to try strong yeast or bacteria fighters to get rid of it completely. Guest guest
Rotten egg smell is sulfur. Are you chelating him? Make sure he drinks enough water to wash down the chelator. Guest guest
No, we aren't chelating yet. I am trying to get all the supplements up and running first. I am hoping we will have him ready soon though . The yeast explanation would make sense though. We have been introducing B vitamins (which I understand can feed yeast). Plus, yesterday his Dad made the mistake of letting him eat a number of bananas (Dad got in BIG trouble), and my son's bowel reeked of a stinky " cheese smell. Does anyone know why is would only be when I am sick? vickiwaihi <vickiwaihi@...> wrote: Unfortunately I have this problem from time to time and it is yeast/bacteria. Guest guest
This happens to me as well when I am sick with a sinus infection. I will have no other symptoms other than those nasty burps....What usually happens is I get nauseous and get sick. Usually if I haven't eaten it usually mucus from post nasal drip. (Sorry if too graphic...) I will usually get it in the morning when I get up. If I can keep some kind of nasal decongestant down for at least 20-30 minutes to get into my system....the burps and nausea will subside....Hope this helps... lisa lally <tsbbcrw@...> wrote: This same rotten egg burp smell happens to me ONLY when I am sick. Guest guest
I just took my son to the Dr. for a sinus infection and she did confirm he had one. I used saline spray in his nose and gave him two drops of oil of oregano three times a day and his sinus infection is gone. I as well had a sinus infection and took antibiotics for 5 days and it did not go away. I started oil of oregano and within 1-2 hours I could actually feel my sinus draining and had all that gross mucus draining. I just thought I would share because I was amazed and so happy I did not have to give my son antibiotics. Good luck and I hope those burps go away. Take care, Darci > > > > Are burps that smell of rotten eggs significant? Why is my son doing > > this? > > > > --------------------------------- > Don't be flakey. Guest guest
-I got this on & off over a period of a couple of years at my old house in AZ. It was accompanied by diarrhea usually- in fact was a harbinger that intestinal distress was coming. I have lived elsewhere for over a year now and have not experienced it since. I made the connection (perhaps a wrong connection) that I may have been getting something from the city water there. I don't know if it was a bacterium, parasite, or totally unrelated...but maybe you should get your water checked. -- In , lisa lally <tsbbcrw@...> wrote: > > This same rotten egg burp smell happens to me ONLY when I am sick.
