Guest guest
Hi Listmates, The doctor prescribed ALAmax CR to my 13 yr old 165 pound boy. this product contains 400mg of " controlled release " the product gives " protection all day " . My son is supposed to take one tablet twice a day. My understanding is that with this use of ALA less than every four hours would lead to redistribution of mercury from the brain to the body organs. Does " controlled release " prevent distribution? another harmful effect may be that using ALA continuosly depletes zinc and copper. I am not comfortable giving my son this product please correct me on the above and share your knowledge with me. What are your thoughts on the DMSA challege? Thanks.
