Get it centered, and you've probably done good! ) Don't worry about the red spots if they are going away quickly. This is completely normal. It is a concern when the skin starts to break down. Hello to all,Aiden is finally onto wearing his helmet 23 hours per day after 3 days of "breaking it in" and doing very well with it. He's had a few red spots, but they go away minutes after the helmet comes off- his skin is EXTREMEMLY sensitive anyway. It's fitting good and not slipping, but I wonder if there is any way I can put this helmet on "wrong"... it seems like the ortho doctor put the helmet on and then moved it here and there on his head and then moved it a little more- being very precise. I just put in on and check to make sure it's not too close to ears and eyes and basically looks "straight". Can I mess this up??Kerry
Guest guest
Kerry, I don't think you could put it on wrong, but if you have a real concern about it then ask your orthotist about it specifically and see what he/she says.
