For VS, I started with 1/2 cap 4X/day and worked up to 6 caps 4X/day. The working up was slow because VS caused a LOT of yeast. It was a pattern: I'd raise the dose, he'd go bananas for a few days, then improvements, then in another day or so the improvements would start fading, I'd increase the dose, he'd go bananas for a few days, then improve...rinse and repeat. I kept increasing the dose until the improvements stopped fading, and the I kept it there for...something like 6 weeks or so? Can't remember exactly. Altogether it took about 3 months. VS is a big drag to do because you really have to keep the doses away from food, and in n's case, 4X/day worked better than 3X/day. So I often had to tell he had to wait for a snack or whatever. But it was totally worth it. I wasn't able to give OLE without more yeast than I was willing to face until after about 70 rounds of chelation. Maybe if I'd seen some improvement I'd have fought through it, but at the time(s), yeast would explode and I'd lose heart. When I was finally able to give it, I worked up from 1/2 cap/day to 3 caps/day. > I think/ hope and continue to pray, we are > almost there, still have the work in the " proper " social area cut > out. Yay! VS helped n with social stuff a lot. It was like he'd been to charm school. > As we all know B-days can be rough too. Oh yeah. Regression every year at birthday time.
