, we used the Hyland's brand of Belladonna, 30x potency:

http://www.iherb.com/store/ProductDetails.aspx?c=Herbs & pid=HYL-29064

It was absolutely the best $4.74 I've EVER spent on autism

treatments, lol.

What's important in homeopathy is to match the total picture of

symptoms to the remedy, or it may not do anything. I didn't really

understand this, I just knew Nell had had great results with

Belladonna so I bought some too, not realizing that there are

probably dozens of possible remedies for fever depending on the

symptoms. So we were incredibly fortunate (blessed) to get such

great, lasting gains from low dose Belladonna after it took care of

the fever.

There are a number of good books on homeopathic first aid that help

people sort this stuff out. Here are a few features of the most

common fever remedies (from Homeopathic Self-Care):

- use Aconite or Belladonna for fevers that come on suddenly and

violently

- fevers that need Aconite often start after a shock or fright, or

exposure to a cold dry wind

- Belladonna is useful when the fever is high, the person's face is

red, and the fever is accompanied by a throbbing headache

- When the fever is intermittent, or comes at the same time every

day, consider China

- Give Ferrum phosphoricum fer fevers at the first stage on illness

with few other symptoms than red cheeks

Also, I would add that you should store homeopathic remedies away

from bright light, heat, and electrical appliances. Sock drawers

work really well. At some point I would like to have a full first

aid remedy kit, I just can't afford to right now.

best wishes, fingers crossed :-)

so clueless about the brand to try. A fever is a pretty objective

symptom and you could sure tell if it was working or not.
