Guest guest
Hello Kendra, i received a email from Roxane in Clarenville, NF concerning her little boy . Thank you for giving her my email address. I don't get a chance very often to visit here but each day I check my email messages. With 1 year old twin boys its kinda hard getting some time on my computer. Just writing to let you know I contacted Roxane and went to visit her last night (Sunday). I explained to her what to expect and showed her some pictures of my little boys and of Zachary wearing his helmet. I also took Zachary's helmet with me to show her what it actually looks like. She was very pleased and more relaxed knowing what is to come. Roxane's little boy also has a lump on the top left side of his head caused by the vacuum at birth. This lump is apparently growing bone and it contains blood. I am not sure if this will pose any problems for 's treatment for plagio. I sure hope not. Today they are visiting the Neurologist at the Janeway Hospital here in St. 's so hopefully he can give her some hope in treating . They will have to go to Toronto Sick Kids if he is to be casted for the helmet. The hospital in Toronto is wonderful and I have no reason to believe that she wouldn't get the correct treatment available. Thanks again for passing my email on to Roxane. We would love to help anyone we possibly can. This Thursday, March 22 our local paper The Evening Telegram are printing our story in there paper. You can view this paper over the Internet. The web site is www.thetelegram.com. The story will be in the Lifestyles section. We hope to bring more attention to Parents of Babies with Plagiocephaly so they can get the medical treatment necessary. Take Care and thank you once again.
