I agree with you Kendra. But I am wondering even IF it was front page news

everyday, just HOW MANY people would even pay attention to it? How many people

would want to give up their electronic wonders, and their cars, and everything

else that is manmade and causing all this pollution? Pretty small percentage, I

would bet.

Cornell research survey finds

About 40 percent of deaths worldwide are caused by water, air and soil

pollution, concludes a Cornell researcher. Such environmental degradation,

coupled with the growth in world population, are major causes behind the

rapid increase in human diseases, which the World Health Organization has

recently reported. Both factors contribute to the malnourishment and disease

susceptibility of 3.7 billion people, he says....

Because polluting corporations pay big advertising bucks to new media...and if

info like this hit the front page they might have to clean up their act and

spend big bucks on cleanup.
