HI ALL and Welcome New Members,

For those of you who don't know me...My son , now 18mos, wore a locally made helmet for 13 mos, graduating last month. We went through three helmets. Luckily, all were covered by ins co. He developed plagio secondary to torticollis. Unfortunately, our first ped didn't even DX Vince when I found a lump in his neck and we discovered that he also had no ROM to the left. I have a question for those of you that have graduated...Did your children's heads round out evenly on top? I am not sure how to describe this. We have been noticing the top of Vince's head has "hills and valleys." It is in the area where his soft spot was. It is not even. It feels like a ridge that runs across as if from ear to ear. I don't know if I should call neuro and have him checked out again. Belinda(Indiana)

Belinda:

If you're worried, then get him rechecked. It can't hurt!
