Guest guest
Is he deficient? Sometimes they do not tolerate what they don't need. Other times they don't absorb it and need digestive enzymes. Are the forms the easily absorbable ones? Is the calcium low lead? Some calcium supplements have more lead than others. Lead makes hyperactivity. Wow waking way early? I am glad you mentioned this, my son has been doing this latey..maybe it's the Moly..I never connected that one. I know that some kids do not tolerate many supps until digestive enzymes are added, or until rounds of chelation have been going on for a while. Under eye circles can be allergies, food intolerance, yeast, viral. What's his diet like. Is yeast treated, is there yeast? What else is he on? It may also help to list the brands and doses of what he is on and what he tried/can't take. Sometimes others here will spot something with dosing or brand that could be a problem. These are all just thoughts that might spark some way to help. Post what he is on and tried, doses, brands. Diet, all supps. If he had a hair test or not and what the results showed. > > Hi all, my little guy is not tolerating minerals. Guest guest
Those of you who have done NAET/Bioset, is this kind of situation appropriate for those treatments? Rene > > Hi all, my little guy is not tolerating minerals.

In fact, I had to use high doses of IP6 for about 4 months to eliminate the toxicity. This was AFTER he had been cf without any calcium supplementation for about 4 years, he was still toxic. If you think he is actually deficient, try giving the calcium with magnesium, vitamin D, and vitamin K. > Right now he has dark circles under his eyes and I am pretty sure it > is from lack of minerals as we have a grip on the gut at the moment. For my son, this meant the mineral toxicity problem was cleared up, altho you might find that your child is still toxic in some minerals but not others. However, even when my son reached this point, I was unable to supplement minerals, his body was fully loaded and not toxic, and so I was unable to give minerals. Recently, he needed a small amount of calcium [has not had ANY calcium since age 3, and he is almost 11 now], but I was only able to give him calcium for about 2 weeks. I tried it with mag, D and K and remember how I had to remove D and K because of his vit A rash? I still can't give him D and K because of that. The rash came back. Now he has a red spot on his face that is like what is on his arms and knees. > It might be mineral toxicity as well. > > > For my son, this meant the mineral toxicity problem was cleared up, > altho you might find that your child is still toxic in some minerals > but not others. Have you found your son to have any problems with teeth or bones at this point? Thank you, Dana. paula > > Dana >
Guest guest
If he's having trouble with Zinc and Calcium, he might need Manganese (Mn). You can get it in wheat germ, wheat bran, oat bran, rice bran, saffron, lima beans, maple syrup, napa cabbage, etc. -Lana
Guest guest
Ah. Thank you, Lana. I have a brand new bottle sitting here. This was the case with biotin abd chromium. He didn't tolerate biotin until I had chromium on board. I'll try it tomorrow am. a > > If he's having trouble with Zinc and Calcium, he might need Manganese (Mn). > You can get it in wheat germ, wheat bran, oat bran, rice bran, saffron, lima > beans, maple syrup, napa cabbage, etc. > > -Lana > > >

I tested by observation. He reacted badly to calcium supplements. He reacted very nicely to IP6 [a demineralizer]. Dana

Calcium is now fully loaded again. I have been experimenting with the individual minerals. He needs manganese and chromium so far. Guest guest
Dana, I most have missed some of the messages concerning IP6. My wife's X-Rays shows some of her arteries with calcification. Her doctors don't really know what to do about it. I am wondering if IP6 would help? Thanks for any comments and suggestions, Sam. Guest guest
Check out the Vitamin K group VitaminK/. There's some interesting info there on Vit K and calcification. My wife's > X-Rays shows some of her arteries with calcification. Her doctors don't > really know what to do about it. I am wondering if IP6 would help? My son was calcium toxic. I used IP6, which is a demineralizer, to reduce his calcium levels. It took 4 months of relatively high doses of IP6 to reduce his level, even tho at that point he had been casein-free and no supplemental calcium for over 2 years. Later on, I noticed that if I gave the calcium with magnesium, vitamin D, and vitamin K, that he was able to handle a small amount of daily calcium. If I did not give those three other supplements, the calcium toxicity symptoms returned. Now he is fully loaded with all three of these supplements, plus his calcium level is back to normal again, but he can't have too much daily calcium [one piece of string cheese can cause problems]. I have these links on my site. My son was also high iron, which IP6 also helps to reduce. http://www.knowledgeofhealth.com/report.asp?story=Iron%20and%20Chelation http://www.knowledgeofhealth.com/report.asp?story=The%20IP6%20Rice%20Bran%20Clea\ nse Dana
