I e-mailed the company that makes the donut pillows yesterday, and

was pleased to see that they responded.

I e-mailed the company and explained to them, how many children

have plagiocephaly, and how it may be prevented. I recommended that

they make flyers or brochures with the donut pillow, and distribute

them to all the maternity wards in all the hospitals. I think it

should be known to all new moms, that back sleeping should still be

enforced, but at the same time, so should what could happen and what

to do to prevent it. I feel if moms know that they can sleep baby on

her back, they can do it with the help of this pillow.

The company thought it was a great idea, and is sending me a free

pillow, for the idea. I was suprised they reacted the way they did.

I'm hoping this makes some kind of difference. Maybe there will be

less cases of plagio, if someone warns new moms first.
