Guest guest
As some of you may know, thanks to Orthmerica, my daughter, Amara, had her casting today for her helmet. Bill Deiringer, from Orthomerica, was there for the whole thing. He is a support through this whole scarey experience. Unfortunatley, Amara was really sick today, and cried the whole time, but she made it through. I was very proud. We took pictures of before and after, and I will put those in her file this weekend. Bill also took the time to speak with my caseworker, and educate her a little more on plagio. He agreed that she definately has bracio. He said without a doubt. He also mentioned that her head is so severely flat, that this was not what he believes to be neglect. But at the same time mentioned that he is not a doctor. He agreed that her head is as flat as a sheet of paper in the back, like I have been saying all along. He is confident in the doctor that she will be seeing in her follow ups. He believes she has one of the best working for her. I am very happy with all that Bill has done. Thank you Bill! I am happy to tell you all, that by next week, my liitle girl will have her butterfly helmet! The worst is over. I will keep you posted as I know more.
