Huh. She must work for the CDC (where else could you be considered

competent with a 2 week Masters?).

I could print out a masters looking degree document with about 10

minutes worth of work in Publisher...

The only other place I know of is FDA...OR she could head up a pharmaceutical

company. Then she'll be working for a school district. Head therapist. The

wonders of the internet.

Mail order degree mills are heavily used to populate the alternative medicine

community

with " doctors, " too.

Not that I object to people getting correspondence degrees who study hard and

learn

stuff, but unfortunately this message does make it clear that isn't what most

people who

do this are into.

I visited with a very prominent, older psychologist in our area for consultation

purposes concerning a mutual client and was shocked to see him proudly

displaying his graduate degree from an institution in NOVA SCOTIA, come on!!

This doesn't happen any longer as in our state you have to have a graduate

degree from an Accredited University to sit for the psych licensing exam and it

has to have been preapproved by the state so the licensing thing is not all bad.

What's wrong with Nova Scotia, it's a Canadian province. What was the name of

the institution?

Nothing is wrong with Nova Scotia except they didn't have an accredited school

for phd psychologists back then. But there was a large mail order mill whose

mailing address was Nova Scotia.
