Guest guest
-I can tell you the script antibiotics might not help anyway. They did nothing more than postpone the inevitable for me which was pulling it out. Hope you find something more helpful than that though! -- In , " Shepard Salzer " <_Shepard@...> wrote: > > > > I had a 3 hour, 15 min dental appt this morning for a double crown prep. Guest guest
Super silver, swished in the mouth for 30 secs or so, and then swallowed. Targets bacteria, virus and fungal, but does not kill good bacteria. Not the same as colloidal silver, as this is nano technology, under a new patent and peer reviewed. Google International Health super silver and it should be the first one. Darla [ ] OT: dental anesthetic observation & natural antibiotic? Guest guest
Personally, I always use 3% Hydrogen Peroxide on any area of my gums that is inflamed. Perhaps you can use that topically? I've heard clove oil is a good topical pain killer. What about GSE? Garlic? I loved how OoO kept me illness free this winter... good luck. I've never had an abcess before. My ASD son is due for a small filling in June (his first). I'm nervous about the Nitrous they wish to use. I've told them I don't want any nitrous, but how else will we keep him somewhat compliant? He is 6. The cavity is between two molars. Pam > > > > I had a 3 hour, 15 min dental appt this morning for a double crown prep. The anesthetic wore off part way through so they had to give me more. Guest guest
Unfortunately, we are going through current dental issues with our son. In a fall, he broke a top front tooth. As is common in these cases (per our holistic dentist), the tooth became infected. A 5 day prescription of amoxicillan was successful in killing the infection. The infection did kill the tooth, though. Our dentist says that once the infection is started, it is really hard to keep it from killing the tooth. She has had some success with using injectible ozone (into the tooth area). When started early in the infection, she has been able to save some teeth. My son did get the injectible ozone. It was too late to save the tooth, but the ozone is supposed to help kill the bacteria in the tooth area. We observed great GAINS with the ozone injections. I think it killed all the yeast that he acquired with amoxicillan. Our DAN! agreed that we needed to use the amoxicillan to kill the infection. An untreated infection will just create bigger problems. The naturals often are not enough to treat a serious infection. > > > > > > > > I had a 3 hour, 15 min dental appt this morning for a double crown > prep. Guest guest
Thanks, I have clove oil in the fridge and have been using that, will start salt water rinses tomorrow, continue with tea tree oil mouthwash and eat even more garlic than we usually do. I also read that a tea bag applied to the area will pull out the infection so will try that. The pain is from the appt rather than the reported abcess. I opted out of nitrous oxide even though I hate needles. I think my reaction to the lidocaine was from how much they used and how long the appt took. I mentioned my reaction to the dentist when he called to see how I was doing. I think he'll add it to the " she's really nuts " column they probably have in my file. Guest guest
We just had a scope for our 5 yr daughter and used Sevofluorane. It worked well for her. It was a short procedure, ~20mins. Good luck! Sharon > > Personally, I always use 3% Hydrogen Peroxide on any area of my gums > that is inflamed. Perhaps you can use that topically? Guest guest
I've never hear of it before but would be afraid of anything with -fluor- in it.
