,

Yes, you really did get lucky! :o) There is nothing worse then

trying to potty train a child that doesn't care if they are wet!!

None of the books cover that scenario.....they all promise the child

won't like it if they have a wet sensation or pee running down their

legs......I can't tell how many books I read on the subject!! Plus,

I know having i around the time that we were potty training

didn't help one bit............Chey was doing so good and once she

saw the baby getting attention during diaper changes, she wanted to

go back to that. AAARRRGGGHHHH!

But thankfully, knock on wood, things are going REALLY well and

although we still use Good-nites at night, I know I can stop buying

them because she hasn't had an accident at night in ages! She now

gets up to use the bathroom during the night and that is something

she started doing all on her own without any coaxing for

me..............now you watch, since I said that she'll probably wake

up tomorrow morning and think she needs to build and ark because of

the mass flooding! LOL!

I just hope i is a much easier child to potty train. The on

going joke was if we couldn't get Cheyenne potty trained, her husband

would have to figure it out! LOL!

Best of luck to you........and don't forget those C batteries! ;o)

And to everyone, if you have child that is as difficult as Chey was,

keep the toilet insert in the back of your mind as an idea to

try.........up until that idea, we had tried everything from several

reward systems to no longer buying pull-ups....you name it, we tried

it and the insert seat for the toilet was the only thing that got us

any head way.
