We have Prudential pos (point of service).. recently taken over by aetna. We are very pleased to say the least! and so quick too! even the orthotist's office was surprised.. andy has had his band for about a month and we didn't have authorization or anything when we paid for it. diane & andy
Guest guest
How wonderful!!!! We have Aetna POS too... we are waiting to see whaet they will do, but like you, we went ahead and began treatment without authorization. What state are you in? That makes a difference. I'm in NC. I'm an attorney who is currently a stay-at-home mom and I'm thinking of making this issue my " cause " . It makes me sick that insurance companies are discriminating against our babies. I'm glad Aetna came through for you! > > Just got great news! Our insurance paid for the band in full! so we > > are getting our 3k credited back to our credit card! Guest guest
Diane: GREAT news for you! Such a relief huh? It's good to hear a good insurance story for once - how's little Andy doing in his band? I hope great! Treat your family to a night out - now that you've got $3000!!! Guest guest
We are in texas.. another thing, is my son is 20 months old, so that would have been an easy excuse for them not to cover him. thing is, we've seen sooo many specialists, since andy was 6 months old, that we do have a case against them and I wonder if that worried them. you're right our babies need help, from everyone involved. diane & andy mom2genna2000@... wrote: How wonderful!!!! Guest guest
Andy is doing great.. he's such a little doll about the whole thing. he can be running around but if he sees me with it he will stop still and let me put it on. his brother is very good at making sure he keeps it on also. I know it's a phase! LOL.. I worry it's too comfortable on him and not doing its job though. It still seems there should be more space on the flat spot than there is. next time we'll get some of the lining shaved out in that one area. diane and andy dj2kirby@... wrote: Diane: GREAT news for you!
