Guest guest
Hi Everyone I have some questions about yeast first can one have a few " die off " periods trying to control yeast? My son had a " die off " reaction in June. During this time he seemed to regress, flapping hands, repeating (scripting) everything, holding ears, seemed in his own world. After he had a bm that had dead yeast in it (specks that looked like black pepper) he slowly seemed to get better. My husband and I have noticed for the last 3 days my son has been flapping his hands and scripting alot. Today he seemed extremely emotional. He cried for really no reason about 6 times today. When he had a bm this evening it was light fluffy and had a few black specks in it. I gave him activated charcoal tonight when he went to bed. Can this be another " die Off " ? Is this something to expect when going through Andy's protocal and trying to control yeast. I use Diflucan and GSE 1 tablet a day on my son. I am doing dmsa/ala but not this weekend. Thanks Annette
Guest guest
Hi Annette I am not an expert but I am chelating my two sons 8 (ASD) and 5 (NT but mercury & lead toxic) as per Andy's protocol. My understanding is that yeast will be an ongoing challenge until the metals are out - so yes you can definitely have multiple die-offs. You just have to keep battling it and keep going with the chelation and supps. Kind regards, Alison > > Hi Everyone > > I have some questions about yeast first can one have a few " die off " > periods trying to control yeast? My son had a " die off " reaction in > June. Guest guest
-Yep you will have this off and on. You can try keeping on antifungals all the time. We use grapefruit seed extract daily and small doses to keep the yeast under control. So that we do not see a die off reaction every time. This happends when you start something like diflucan because there is no gradual increase in dose. It's just one big dose. I work up slowly on the gse to get to a dose that works. This is slower, reduces that huge die off reaction. Also giving probiotics daily. -- In , " awhi2110 " <awhi2110@...> wrote: > > Hi Annette > I am not an expert but I am chelating my two sons 8 (ASD) and 5 (NT > but mercury & lead toxic) as per Andy's protocol. Guest guest
Hi We have had similar reactions to Anette's mail and we are doing supps for 2months now - no dmps/dmsa/ala yet. Following this thread with great interest. A couple of questions Grapeseed Extract or Grapefruit seed extract - which is the right one or is it either? Olive leaf extract - is it either OLE or GSE? Oregano oil - again is it either of these? Activate Charcoal - given to soak up toxins with die off - is this right? Is it the Essential Oils I should look for in these? What quantities of GSE etc should one use - per bottle instruction? Diflucan given once weekly - does this dose get given more frequently late? Gradually building up to dmps/dmsa stage - SNT, Probiotics, Zinc, Selenium, Diflucan (Act. Charcoal, Oregano or GSE) Vit C (750mg pd working up to between 1000-3000mg pd) and Chlorella (still to introduce). After Oregano lots of die-off behaviour symptons - so stopped Oregano. I appreciate your feedback Regards Jan <paxlforme@...> wrote: -Yep you will have this off and on. You can try keeping on antifungals all the time. Guest guest
> Grapeseed Extract or Grapefruit seed extract - which is the right one or is it either? Grape seed is an antioxidant. Grapefruit seed is an antifungal. It depends on which one you need. > Olive leaf extract - is it either OLE or GSE? OLE is an antiviral and antibacterial. GSE is an antifungal. Most of the time, viral " die off " tends to increase yeast, so I had to give both OLE and GSE for a while, until the viral " die off " no longer caused yeast. > Oregano oil - again is it either of these? Works on bacteria and yeast. > Activate Charcoal - given to soak up toxins with die off - is this right? It absorbs everything. Many people use it 30-45 minutes after antifungal to eliminate die off symptoms, altho my kids never had negative symptoms from die off. > Is it the Essential Oils I should look for in these? Essential oils is a different concept entirely. > What quantities of GSE etc should one use - per bottle instruction? Start with one drop in the morning, increase as required. > Diflucan given once weekly - does this dose get given more frequently late? I never used Diflucan. > and Chlorella (still to introduce). This causes problems for many people. >>After Oregano lots of die-off behaviour symptons - so stopped Oregano. My son did not tolerate oil of oregano, so it may have been that. Guest guest
Thanks Dana and Jan for your replies. I would like to share the reply from the GP in a effort to make it clearer for me and hopefully help me to make the most informed decision. Your opinions are valued and appreciated - thanks again Jan wrote: " NO DO NOT EVER GIVE CHLORELLA!!! This will make a mercury person worse. It does not chelate mercury but moves it around and will make you sick. Believe me I know, I tried it! " " Chlorella is a natural chelating agent that is used commonly. It is not the most formal or serious medication. It is used in conjunction with Zinc, vit C and other chelators. It does not cross the blood brain barrier, so will not cause " carrying " of heavy metals to the brain. " danasview <danasview@...> wrote: " this caused problems for many people. Guest guest
, Chlorella does not chelate in the sense that it will not remove metals from the human body. It makes *most mercury poisoned people much sicker. What's the point of using something that is going to make most people sick and isn't going to do anything to help. There is no point in arguing with a doctor who already thinks that he knows what he is talking about and doesn't. He is babbling on about something he heard from some other doctor, who heard it from some other, who heard it from some other, and none of them know what they are talking about. If they traced the rumor back to try to find a foundation in the scientific literature they would find that there is no foundation, but they wouldn't know how to do that anyway. Sorry if I sound touchy. I had a negative experience myself, watched a friend regress, and have read post after post after post after post from adults who have worsened with chlorella. The hype comes from outfits who want to make a buck off of it. Guest guest
Thanks , there seems to be enough negative reactions to Chlorella which is a red flag. Will stay away from it. Don't need to cause issues than we have to deal with. Appreciate your comments.
