Guest guest
Johanna, Wow - what a dilema! I'm not sure what I would do either. I can't believe you have to go and appear in person. My insurance company gave me the option of " appearing " in front of the panel via conference call. Would Tricare do that possibly? I guess I would really weigh the difference in what I would have to pay out to travel (adding in a little extra for the stress) compared to how much you could possibly get for the band. It may not work out financially to go to Colorado even though I have to admit it would REALLY tick me off for my insurance company to tie my hands like that!!!! Best of luck whatever decision you make. I really admire you for being tough and going through all of this somewhat alone. Military wives are amazing!! My mom was a military wife during the Vietnam War and I just don't know how she did it with 3 year old twins and another 1 year old!!! Keep us posted!! Guest guest
Have you contacted the National Military Family Association. They are the ones that helped me with Tricare?? If not let me help you contact them and see what you can do. You should not have to go out to CO. Call me at 877-686-2277 Pitchke
