So Kendra,

Are you recommending not to paint the band? It seems cuter to have

another color other than white. I'm still trying to figure out what

type of paint to use. I heard the acyrlic peels off. Is this true??

Selena:

I painted Hanna's band with acrylic paint. I loved it! I wanted a more permanent look tho. I used a solid colour, then rub on transfers, then clear varnish. You can see Hanna's band in the files under "Hanna's cutie pie pix", and how I painted it is in post # 10507 (I think!!). The reason why I removed the paint was because I wanted to try something new after 3 months. Turned out I liked the original look better anyway!

The acrylic paint does peel/chip if you don't use the varnish.

Hi Selena,

I read your posts about painting the band. I also

wanted to paint my daughter's band but decided to use

stickers instead. It turned out great. I put several

coats of multi-purpose sealer over the stickers to

protect them. We've been banded 5 weeks now and it

still looks good. Look under the files section to

check out her band. The file is . If you have

any questions email me! Hope all is well!
