Just a note to clarify, there is no ONE "helmet". There are dozens of different kinds out there. It's very important to contact all providers in your area and ASK QUESTIONS in order to decide what is best for you and your situation. Make sure you ask how the different helmets work, etc. Go to http://www.plagiocephaly.org/support/questions_for_the_doctor.htm

Luckily I found out that the helmet doesn't even work after 12 months of age. Anyway, she sent me a document comparing/contrasting the helmet and the DOC band by email. Needless to say, it was very helpful and informative. I will email it to you(hopefully I still have it saved). If anyone else needs it just email me directly or call Debbie. Jill
