At least there is a glimpse of hope with the insurance today. It's nice to take a bit of a breather, at least for a day (wait, it's Friday, you can breathe for the weekend!!!), and not have to worry about another flat out denial, yet. Hello All,We finally talked with someone in charge...a supervisor over at UHC. I am totally confused with these people now. 4 different clerks have told us that our appeal has been denied, now the supervisor is saying she doesn't even see a record in our file of any appeal letter being received. What the HELL is wrong with these people?!The supervisor assures us that she will get to the bottom of what is going on. My husband told her all of what was in our letter and asked how can they deny us a second time with the same argument? How can the discount the PROOF that we supplied that she was born with Plagio, when they have already said that if she was born with it that they would pay?............I don't even want to go into how WRONG that is.We also found out yesterday at our CT office another family that has UHC has gotten pre-approval! Can you believe that????? They didn't have to fight or anything, they just got approved! I can't for the life of me figure UHC out. They are SO shady it is unbelievable. The supervisor that we talked to basically said that she would do what was in her power to help us fight......but I don't know if I believe that, after all she is working for the enemy.
