Guest guest
I'm sorry I have so little to add to this topic but I know my sister took Lupron when going through fertility and she had big mood swings. Also had a friend at school take it to help with mentstral issues and couldn't get her period back. I didn't keep up with her after graduation so I don't know if she ever got it straightened out or not. Just throwing in what tiny bit I know about Lupron. ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
Hi all, I'm Dean in Rockford, IL. My daughter, age 17 with high testosterone levels and lots of anxious/aggressive behaviors began Dr. Geier's Lupron protocal 16 days ago. We've seen these behaviors increase along with rapid speech following the injections each a.m. (she's very verbal). So far, it's been difficult to keep her in school; 3 suspensions in two weeks of school. We're concerned she will hurt someone or hurt herself. I know from the Lupron literature that it tends to send testosterone levels even higher in the initial two weeks, then drops to baseline levels and then in weeks 3-4 to what they call " castrate " levels. Should I be waiting to see if she turns the corner soon? Any other experiences with beginning the protocol would be helpful right now. What have you seen in your children as they began? Hope to learn much and share the knowledge as we go. Thanks for any input.
Guest guest
There is a group for parents that are using the Geiers/Lupron protocol with their child. I’m not sure of the name. That would be a good place to post your question. Pamela " Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared.
