think about the product.

I'm sure you are counting the days down until your court date! How did it go

with the attorney? Does he/she feel like you guys will get Amara back on the

spot?

Marci,

I got your e-mail. I was really suprised that the company did respond. I

think it's cool that they are sending one to me, but I'm more happy that

they agree its important to inform new moms about plagio, and let them know

that their product can help. I wish I had known about the pillow when Amara

was born. I'm not too sure if it would've helped her or not, but it

certainly would've made sleeping easier. I don't know what's gonna happen at

court. I guess this is just an arraignment, they'll schedule another court

date after this one, and who knows how long it'll be before that one. I am

gonna stress to the judge that my daughter is bonding with the foster

parents, and she seems to not know who we are too well anymore, and that

breaks my heart. It's not fair to her or to us. I hope my caseworker is

gonna tell the court what she is learning about plagio, since she is

attending all the appointments. She must know now, that they were wrong.

Amara had her casting today. She will be in her new butterfly helmet by next

week. She was so miserable, because she was sick, but she survived. I will

let you know more as I know more. Court is next week on Tuesday. I'll keep

I e-mailed the company that makes the donut pillows yesterday, and was pleased to see that they responded. I e-mailed the company and explained to them, how many children have plagiocephaly, and how it may be prevented. I recommended that they make flyers or brochures with the donut pillow, and distribute them to all the maternity wards in all the hospitals. I think it should be known to all new moms, that back sleeping should still be enforced, but at the same time, so should what could happen and what to do to prevent it. I feel if moms know that they can sleep baby on her back, they can do it with the help of this pillow. The company thought it was a great idea, and is sending me a free pillow, for the idea. I was suprised they reacted the way they did. I'm hoping this makes some kind of difference. Maybe there will be less cases of plagio, if someone warns new moms first. SweeneyAmara's mom
