Guest guest
Kim, We love the Gymboree class! Hunter was slow to start walking and I think the classes have really helped him build his strength. He goes to PT and the therapist recommended we do the class. It's a fun way for him to practice walking, climbing, etc. It is definitely a parent-child thing at this age (he's in the "Gymwalkers" class, 10-18 months of age I think). There are lot's of songs that you sing, there is a time for the parents to sit and talk about issues and of course lots of play time. Each week they will concentrate on something, i.e. spatial awareness, balancing, etc. They have lot's a good equipment to play on (slides, things to climb or crawl up, tunnels, etc). If there is one in your area I would recommend visiting, I think they'll let you attend 1 session for free to check it out! Guest guest
, That sounds really neat. We don't have them in St. Louis yet. I dont think. Guest guest
All this talk, I finally made the time to call Gymboree. My son's PT said it would be good for him. It will probably be good for me because it will tire him. The one near us is having 10 weeks for $95 plus $25 registration fee. This is considered a special. We will be trying a free class on Thurs. My daughter took tumbling when she was Vince's age and she loved it. Belinda(Indiana)
Guest guest
- Check out www.gymboree.com. They have a class locater thing where you can look for the class nearest to you... I took my daughter to their classes when she was littler and we loved it too!! Check it out..my family lives near St. Louis (on the IL side!!!) so that is my home stomping ground...but I don't know about the Gymboree classes there... We live near Chicago and the classes here are in a couple different places...one is at a church! When we went (we lived in Utah then) it was in a strip mall... so I think their locations vary. Hope you can find one! Take care - - Evan's mom Plagiocephaly@y..., fyveboyz@a... wrote: > , > That sounds really neat. We don't have them in St. Louis yet. I > dont think.
