Hi ,

Did you ever see black mold in the house? Many of the symptoms you list, sound

like mold issues, many of them.

Good news is you can get better, and sounds like the move improved you all a

bit.

I was in a toxic mold cottage 8 years, all proven, by bloodwork and mold testing

around and in house.

Bad news, mold changes DNA and is another assault like mercury that complicates

things. The article in the files

section of this group I posted on Peripheral Neuropathy talks a bit about how

mold complicates stuff.

FYI my finger tips had flesh peeling off when in the cottage and no fingernail

tips/white. Now they are fine, strong nails

no hangnails even. I bring this up, because my son's fingers still always

peeled, until recently.

After introducing CoQ10 into his mix THEY ARE TOTALLY BETTER!!!!!No hang nails

at all. Miracle. Really.

They were awful his whole life.

We probably have MTHFR and the two articles I posted MTHF, and the PN talk about

these fixes.

You'll be ok. Mold makes you CRAZY, especially fusarium.

I saw a specialist here in CA, Dr. Marinkovich, near by, just for a little

while, but researched mold alot.

You're on the right path. Bio-set can help alot. www.bioset.com to find a

practitioner.

Be well. Alison F.

" - lots of flooding issues/standing water in basement.

...baths/showers gave 3 people in my house blue-ish veins/skin - have

since learned that would be called " cyanosis. "

one had tremors, another had peeling hands/feet (not pink, just

peeling), everyone had belly issues, 3 of them continue to have

migraines (before my 3 year old, they were just really bad

headaches), one had persistent chest pain (my older " asthma " girl),

(oh, the kitten/cat who had belly issues/balance issues that greatly

improved after the move too, figures in),etc....I did get all to dr

at various points, with repeated reassurances that all " looked "

normal & relatively healthy. "

7a. the results from 2 hair tests- opinions & knowledge wanted - long...

looking this over - it is very long...but not sure what I would cut

out, I really want the opinions of the people here...please & thank

you to anyone who can respond. I so value the insights of this

group, and appreciate any you may have.

this took forever - my semi-computer-illiterate self...so, I think I

got these looking somewhat what they should...

that said, these would be hair tests done for my 3yo migraine girl.

the first one is my girl's very first hair (her hair was cut for the

very first time ever, for this test)...it looks like it meets

counting rules, for sure.

the second is recent hair - with added supplements, knowledge, epsom

baths, breastfed/still nurses 1-2x week, etc. and is from April this

year.

We moved from IL to MO when she was 15-ish mos. old - I lived in that

house (in IL) for about 3 yrs - and (then, I was blaming

premenopause, or " just being me. " ) was feeling ill/cranky,etc. about

3 mos after moving into house there.

It was a horrible time, all I could come up with while pregnant

was " I just feel like crap, I just can't do anything " , which was

relatively unhelpful. had lotsa tests - yes, I had thyroid issues,

not my thyroid / yes, I had blood sugar issues, not diabetes /yes, I

had sporadic high blood pressure/racing pulse, not related to

pregnancy /yes, had low body temp, must be " normal for me " and so on

and so on (but I " looked " really good, go figure)..lotsa bedrest.

- blah,blah,blah...

.....so after moving to MO, she was remarkably/noticeably feeling

better (about 2-ish mos.), as was everyone else in my house. After

about 6 mos., I felt up to research & that was the start of all of

our better answers....

Things that may or may not figure in, but that I keep in mind...

the house in IL was built on a water table, in the middle of farm

country,

- lots of flooding issues/standing water in basement.

...baths/showers gave 3 people in my house blue-ish veins/skin - have

since learned that would be called " cyanosis. "

one had tremors, another had peeling hands/feet (not pink, just

(oh, the kitten/cat who had belly issues/balance issues that greatly

improved after the move too, figures in),etc....I did get all to dr

at various points, with repeated reassurances that all " looked "

normal & relatively healthy.

So, any answers, detailed, off the cuff, quick, etc..are very

appreciated...

Bugs...also had a basement of bugs - centipedes,wasps,ants, spider,

and more, more, more. (to me, healthier house/personal Yuck). bugs

died, gone by winter - really noted it that following spring, when

they never returned, and then sick,sick,sick...

....so I had crossed off mold as major contributing factor, since I

think when I looked into it, it would not have killed ALL the bugs.

I may have to revisit it, and will definitely check out the site,

sounds like mold may be bigger than I thought it was...

....some dark mold, not nearly as much as the lighter stuff..

thanks
