The starband is also FDA approved, I think as of July 2000. Maybe CT

meant they are the only provider for the DOC Band. The treatments

are similiar in some respects but executed differently. CT takes

full responsibility for the treatment whereas Orthoamerica works with

the local orthotist who works with the patient for the Starband

treatment.
