Guest guest
Can you explain why unbuffered is better and how do you address low stomach acidity and the requirements of high vitamin c? I have always read that high doses of vitamin c should be buffered. It is believed that our daughter has low stomach acid as well. The practitioner has suggested taking vit c right before meals or to try apple cider vinegar before meals or lemon water. She had a severe reaction to Betaine HCL. I hope someone can clarify and explain if buffered or unbuffered would be best with a child with low stomach acidity and needing high doses of c to address viral issues. At this point we are giving the bulk of her supplements four times a day which usually is an hour before meal and at bedtime. So at any rate adding the vitamin c before meals would be another adjustment in administration that I should consider. We do drink lemon water regularly with meals. Depending on what we eat we give enzymes and usually give CLO with meals alto the CLO tends to be the one that gets missed the most. Thanks, Melinda > > > > Where do you all get your vitamin C at?
