Re: got Connor's helmet yesterday

also HATED hats. Would not leave a hat on her head and pitched a fit if

you tried to make her. We also dreaded getting the helmet for fear that she

would have the same reaction to it. We were shocked and surprised to find

that she couldn't have cared less about the helmet being on her head! I will

say this, when her helmet is off she still will have nothing to do with a hat

being on her head - what's with that?! LOL

That is really great news. My son got his band last Friday and is

also doing well. I'm happy to hear that the last few children who

have received their bands are doing so wonderfully. This makes it so

much easier for us to feel that we are doing what is best for our

kids.

I am so glad Connor took to the helmet so well. We get 's

helmet in a few weeks. I hope that he does that well. We are

preparing ourselves for some sleepless nights though. He absolutely

hates to wear hats so this should be fun!! It will be nice going

through this journey with you and others who are doing this.
