Elena,

Such true words - amazing that the peds don't think to warn new parents as

they are leaving the hospital with their new babies!!!! Yes, SIDS is a very

serious issue and I do support the Back to Sleep campaign, BUT......parents

should also be told about the Tummy to Play part of that campaign that

somehow gets overlooked!!!!!

Will these people ever learn???? I sure hope so. I know this much - things

will be different for me the next time around. (if there is a next time

around - LOL)

Hi Marci, my first name is Elena and i found the site when I was trying to get

info about plagio but DJ was 6mo and the pillow is designed for babies under

5mo. The first plastic surgeon that look at DJ told us that he probably needed

surgery, I went nuts because everyone i asked about DJ weird head shape told me

it will shape by itself as he grew older and never thought it was that serious,

that's when i started researching and went to different Dr who prescribe the

helmet, I am still amazed that no one warns new parents about plagio, no the

hospitals neither pediatricians until it actually happens.

I'm sure this product could work, but I personally would not leave it in with my baby over night. You know what they say about babies and pillows.

I had heard of this product, but had never checked it out. There is also a company called Snugglebuds. The make a "butterfly pillow" for plagio. They used to have a web site, but I couldn't find it last time I looked.
