Guest guest Posted March 9, 2001 Report Share Posted March 9, 2001 We finally got the DOC band yesterday and although it was quite a trip with mega traffic....sooooooo worth it!!!!! The difference is so major from the starband WE had. (again-not against starband company-against my old orthodist who didnt have a clue) anyway-we are so HAPPY!!!!!! the fit is beautiful and he went right into wearing it with no adjustment what so ever. there are NO major sideburns like before, no major space around his ears, the inside is smooth like it should be, it weighs hardly anything, very thin, and best of all....when he was rolling around this morning, IT STAYED IN PLACE! YEAH!!! last night i cried from overall exhaustion. the trip took almost 7 hours roundtrip in the car alone (due to construction patterns), instead of 4. i was tired, hungry and frustrated from going alone with aitan. it was really hard because he didnt nap and he had to stay seated for so long. and i was angry at the world for feeling so alone... BUT, today i cried because I FINALLY FEEL LIKE WE ARE GETTING SOMEWHERE. i just know this is going to work!!!! and i will travel to alaska if need be to do this. thanks for all your support through all this. i will be posting pictures tonight sometime to show the differences. and i'll keep everyone posted on progress. lisa Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
