Sorry guys this one is just for the women: A friend sent me an email

which really bothered me. It was about materials used inthe

manufacturing of tampons (tampoons as I call them) It said that

these are made with asbestos, bleach and other toxic chemicals but

since not considered " injesting " it is okay. Asbestos causes

asbestosis which is a death sentence. If breathing in asbestos

causes lung cancer I can only imagine what wearing a tampon with

asbestos in is doing to my body. I don't know how to attach the

email I recieved but if someone could walk me through it I would be

happy to post it. There may be an article on this in essentials

magazine? There are two manufacturers that use only cotton and they

are Organic essentials (800) 765-6491 and Terrafemme (800) 755-0212.

Has anyone else heard of this?
