Guest guest
Hello All, Well I survived yesterday without laying an egg! I did a little clucking, but I didn't sprout feathers or Cocka-doodle-do. ) And sorry guys, I meant that last post as a humorous type of post.......it is hard to be a wise a## and have it show on the computer.......but that was my intention.....anyone who has spoken to me on the phone, knows I am a very serious wise guy. ) But anyway, during our very lengthy drive yesterday to CT, my husband and I discussed why the media doesn't want to get involved with Plagio. What we believe......and you can tell me what you think.......is that the media, the AAP and everyone linked with the Back To Sleep Campaign, is afraid that if the REAL truth comes out, that parents will start putting their babies back on their stomachs and thus leave them susceptible to SIDS. And that is the reason why they are afraid to run a full length, feature article. My husband and I have thought about this in length and we think we have some ideas on how we can approach this. I am going to speak with today and tell her my ideas.............once I get her input, I will let you all know what my hubby and I are thinking. Also, just another thing to throw out to you is that I just finished writing a letter to my district Congresswoman, Sue . Sue is trying to pass a bill through the Senate that will make insurance companies pay for corrective surgeries for Craniofacial disorders. In my letter I respectfully request that they also include corrective procedures so that Plagio babies will also be covered. Once I get a chance, I will post all the information for the various congressman, connected with the bill, so that you all can write letters as well. Talk to you soon, Jaya Dong www.caps2000.org
