Guest guest
> Hi Everyone- > well had his Neuro consult wednesday and depsite the fact that he will just be 3 months on March the 8th the dr felt that we should go ahead and band him now. Beck, Please don't cry--you're doing the right thing and you're starting with band therapy so early that little 's head will be fine when you're through. You're lucky you had such an eagle-eyed pediatrician. It's traumatic when you start down this road, what with the casting and seeing your baby with a band at first, but it gets better and it gets exciting as you start to see changes. I know he's beautiful now, but just wait! My friends who used to live in Memphis suggested the UT Medical Center. I'd call the neurosurgery and craniofacial plastic surgery departments, find out if they write prescriptions for bands or helmets, and find out who makes the devices. Then interrogate them about their experience and success rate. If you have to travel to Dallas or Atlanta, do a search of messages here for tips on getting deals on airline fares. Someone here has an amazing plan for getting the best price on multiple trips. I know how stressful moving is all by itself. Hang in there! Again--you're doing a great job! Investigate your options and go from there. You won't regret getting this help for . (Sherrie and Barney just beamed when I told them I met you on line. They said all sorts of wonderful things about you and your husband. You mean a lot to them.) You'll start feeling better as you start to get answers. Best of luck to you. , Conor's mom, in snowy Central PA
